WICKSTEED LEISURE
Darrington Play Area
Darrington Village Field Trust wanted an update of their current play area. The local area is stunning and has a very popular castle near by and we wanted the playground to reflect this. We added bespoke castle roofs to the multiplay and themed our traditional 'Shark 4 Saw' to a 'Horse 4 Saw' as well as our 'Talking Pirates' to bespoke 'Talking Knights' to highlight this theme. This is only phase 1 of this project and this areas focus is on Toddlers as the main user group. We used bright primary colours and a nursery rhyme themed multiplay to appeal to this user group.

Glendale Grounds Management -Â FLZ Area
Fitness Legacy Zone outdoor gym equipment is becoming more and more popular in the UK. It allows the gym to become accessible for all as it is free of charge to attend and put in public parks for everyone to use. This area encourages the community to get active and enjoy exercise. The blue/black colours contrast with the green eco fleck surfacing and blend in well with the existing fence and MUGA area that surround the space. The black wet pour wear pads are also vital for maintenance of the area. They are placed under the high wear areas in the space to help this. The use of technology such as apps and QR codes also helps users who may be unsure of how to use the equipment an online guide of the safe way to exercise.

Greene King Playgrounds
Greene King wanted a farmyard themed space for young children that encourages them to interact with one another and experience creative play. A bespoke tractor multiplay was designed to accommodate this theme and the tractor and cockerel springies also enhance the farmyard feel. The interactive panels add another aspect of play that encourages children to enjoy mental challenges as play too. The wetpour surfacing is accessible as it can create a smooth transition surface from concrete to the play area seamlessly.

LIVE PROJECT - THE PORTLAND CENTRE - NOTTS COUNTY FOUNDATION - BLUEPRINT INTERIORS - 2022
The Retreat and The Den
Our key aim was to design a space that enhances the experience of the various groups that use the Portland Centre, with a key focus on improving mental health through sport. It’s also important that the space is multifunctional and versatile to entice new groups to use this space as their hub. Notts County Foundations key values are all about improving wellbeing, mental health and mindfulness through sport. Another key-way to improve these values is using connotations to nature, bringing the outside in using interior design.

LIVE PROJECT - CORPUSTY PRIMARY SCHOOL LIBRARY Â - NORWICH - 2021
Once Upon A Mountain Top
Once Upon A Mountain is an innovative, entertaining, stimulating library design that provides the right tools to allow children to feel inspired to read and explore while feeling close to nature. The Mountainous Campsite theme works harmoniusly with the active ethos and outdoor activites that the school as a whole take part in. The design has a natural biophillic look with uses of whites, greens and beiges, inspired by natural landscapes. There are also pops of colour in the library to stimulate the children in the space, keeping it fun and exciting. Accent furniture and innvoative structural elements such as ladders and cabins will allow the children to learn through play. This is work/play balance is a crucial for young children as they continue to be inspired and learn. We are also using sustainable materials wherever we can to ensure the library is as eco friendly as possible as it relates to the school motto nicely: 'Nurted Hearts, Inspired Minds, Making a Difference"

LIVE PROJECT - NUA X ENSF BRAND SPACE - NORWICH - 2021
Finding Your Path
Finding Your Path aimed to design an interactive, conceptual space which makes NUA memorable and gives a long-lasting impact on the ENSF students. Our overarching concept was allowing these young adults to find their own path, much like finding a route on a roadmap. Entering through the string wall that houses the NUA logo, the ENSF students can experience many activities through every zone in the space. We have designed unique, innovative symbols for all the BA (Hons) courses of NUA, that link all our installations together harmoniously (drawers, columns and video wall and activity zone). The pull out draw installation offers a short synopsis of each course and the handles correlate to the course symbols we designed. The columns show simple Q&A information about NUA and were also inspired by our bespoke course symbols. The main activity space features a video wall that can be used as a promotional area for NUA. The touch screens, on the back wall, highlight key stages of information that students will need to know throughout their journey. For example, Choosing Your Course, How To Apply, Accommodation and University Life. As a whole, these installations are designed to encourage students to find their own route to success. These activities increase awareness of potential career pathways and highlight key information and opportunities that are offered when studying at NUA.

CHURCH RENOVATION - ST MARTINS CHURCH - NORWICH - 2020
Elemental Thermal Spa
When repurposing this church into a spa, I wanted to honour it’s historical structure. I wanted my design to beÂ
unique, so I chose to theme it around the anciet elements: water, fire, earth and air as I felt this tied in well to theÂ
historical aspect of the church. I want my design to be minimal with neutral/natural tones and the use of sustainable materials . The ancient element theme works harmoniously with the age of the building and the minimal/sustainable approach to the spa modernises the building whilst still celebrating its history.

RESTAURANT RENOVATION - EAST GALLERY Â - NORWICH - 2020
Mexican Restaurant
I wanted to focus on traditional aspects of Mexican style rather than following the overdone commercialised Tex-Mex look. The use of star lights, talavera tiles and textiles helped me achieve a more authentic design style. I used warm tones to create a cosy comforting atmosphere that further highlights the authenticity of the restaurant. The deep tones of wood compliment the colour palette perfectly. The wooden beams were added as a styling feature, to make the space feel smaller and more cosy. The space was split into three zones. The reception area, the bar area and the dining area. This allowed the space to flow correctly and makes it easier for employees to navigate the restaurant.
